Power generation is 25% higher with 6 than with 12 reactors. Plenty of scaremongering around volatility, though. Consumers don't realize that one-hour price spikes are completely irrelevant since they pay monthly (or even quarterly) AVERAGE prices. Max, min, mean, and standard deviation. People don't know statistics and are so easy to fool by demagogues.

Large customers buy directly on electricity markets at hourly market price, or have direct power purchase agreements with power suppliers.

Most small customers are paying using average prices, but these average prices are calculated from the costs of power suppliers and these are affected by hourly market prices. So when many small customers consume use lot of electricity during hours with high hourly market price, the average price for small customers goes up.

Best solution is instalation of smart meters so that small customers pay according to hourly market price.


The bottleneck is the grid, not the production centers. Volatility is not more extreme in Sweden than other connected (Nord Pool) countries. But isn't that understanding discarded? It is if you mean "intermediate working state" while it was generating the LEAN code. Which raises the question: I wonder what other directions it could have gone in those intermediate states? Is it possible to snapshot the state of an LLM (or a cluster of them) "in the middle of proving FLT" and then prompt it to go in a different direction with all that context?

No we cannot. LLMs do not, by their very nature, understand a single thing. You are giving far too much credence to hype and marketing.



25-50 seems like a pretty lowball estimate, I guess depending on your definition of "understand."

C is great for a course on computer architecture. C helps you understand how variables and procedures map to stack frames, how segments map to local and global variables, and how it's all data (i.e., machine code). But it's decidedly not a great first language. Learning linked lists, sort algorithms, memory allocation, etc. in C is for many students a traumatic experience. Far better to introduce these concepts in Python, JavaScript, or C# and then lower them to C.

If learning algorithms in C is a traumatic experience, then you and I have very different definitions of trauma.

Right, if you are not using dictionary definitions of words we define words differently. Though I should have clarified that I meant "Failing to learn linked lists, sort algorithms, memory allocation, etc, ..."
